The noise can feel relentless – children, work, family, friends, phone, emails, social media – it is hard to find the time and space to think.
- the future
- family relationships
- sex life
…all get drowned out in today’s fast moving, busy, everyday life.
Psychotherapy with Nemone Metaxas
I offer a weekly space, to sit down together. To allow time and space for whatever you are feeling, scared to acknowledge, not even sure you can voice. It can be terrifying to have some of these feelings and face them alone. However, it is my experience that albeit scary, it can be life saving and hugely rewarding to listen to the little voice inside ourselves which often doesn’t get any room or which gets muted by everything else.
Take a deep breath. Come and experience therapy with me. We’ll be together for 50 minutes every week. In your week, it might be the only time you allow yourself to be really listened to or that you can actually hear yourself.
Having worked in radio and tv for 20 years, I have spent a lifetime listening and talking to people in the interests of hearing their story; reflecting real experiences. My wish has always been to connect more authentically in whatever situation I’m in.
As a therapist, I provide a confidential space where we can reflect on what’s happening for you and why. Having been part of the media world, and witnessing the rise in social media first hand, I’m mindful of the huge worth in one to one connection with another person face to face.
Areas I work with:
- Dealing with history of trauma or abuse
- Depression and mood swings
- Family conflicts and issues
- Feelings of emptiness and lack of fulfilment in life
- Grief and loss – difficulties coping with bereavement or relationship break up
- Lack of confidence and low self worth
- Managing conflict
- Pressures of competing to a high level at sport; including injury and illness
- Problems facing major life transitions
- Relationship Issues
- Self esteem and confidence
- Stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
- Work related issues; career anxiety and transitions, pressures of public life versus private life

If you’re interested in working together please call or email me to arrange a brief initial phone conversation. Then we will have at least one exploratory session where together we’ll look at what you would like to work on, how we might work together, and decide whether or not we continue to work together.
£75 for an individual 50 minute session.
