You might be looking for therapy because you’re feeling stuck, repeating old patterns of behaviour, perhaps you’re struggling to sustain meaningful relationships with others, or maybe you’re feeling unfulfilled with life?
Whatever the catalyst has been, talking with a therapist can really help to unravel the issues and help you move forward.
I work in a way which takes into consideration how your early life and experiences may be influencing you presently. I work alongside my clients in thinking about what may be feeling difficult and how we might be able to use therapy to address some of these things.
Psychotherapy with Lottie Boswell
I work with men and women and offer psychotherapy for a range of issues and concerns. I also have specific interest in working with people who are:
- Suffering from anxiety and feelings of panic
- Coping with past and recent trauma
- Struggling with their relationships
- Grieving following a death or loss
- Managing feelings around self harm or suicidal thoughts
- Survivors of childhood sexual abuse and trauma
- Suffering from feeling ‘shut-down’ or ‘disconnected’
How we work together in therapy
My way of working is underpinned by Developmental, Relational, and Trauma-Informed approaches. Therapy can be all sorts of things, but fundamentally it’s a space to explore all the various aspects of yourself. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental and confidential space in which we can work collaboratively in order to explore and help resolve the difficulties you may be facing. What’s most important is that together we can connect and create a space where we’re able to consider the aspects of life that feel tricky or painful for you…
