How do I choose the right therapist to work with?
Research shows again and again that the effectiveness of the therapy or counselling is determined by the relationship you have with your therapist or counsellor.
It is therefore important that you find someone who you feel comfortable with and who you can build a trusting relationship with. Every therapist, counsellor and coach has a particular areas of interest or specialism so please have a look at the individual profiles to find out more and who might suit you.
Please feel free to chat on the telephone to a few therapists or to meet several before deciding who you would like to work with. The initial session is an opportunity for both you and the therapist to decide if you would like to work together.

They are each required to be in supervision and their supervisors have confirmed the accuracy of the content of their profiles on this website. They are each independently accountable and their presence on our website does not constitute an endorsement by us of their competencies.
